We are occasionally asked about
water filters and water quality. Many new refrigerators are supplied
with integral water filters for automatic icemakers and water
dispensers. Some consumers choose to install auxiliary water filters
on their plumbing systems or faucets. Consumers that have water
filters of any type are cautioned that the filter element must be replaced
at regular intervals in accordance with the manufacturers
requirements. Failure to replace the filters regularly could
potentially lead to reduced water quality. |
