Commissioner John R. Sullivan
""My
primary goal is to ensure that we continue to provide an abundant
supply of high quality, reasonably priced drinking water for all of
our citizens."

| Mr.
Sullivan is an active member of the Long Island Water Conference, the
Nassau-Suffolk Water Commissioners Association and the American Water
Works Association. A union plumber/foreman by trade, Mr.
Sullivan serves as an officer on the finance board and was a former instructor with
Plumber's Union Local 200. He is a graduate of Bethpage High
School and has taken numerous college-level architectural courses at
the City College of New York (CCNY). Mr.
Sullivan has over 30 years of
service with the Bethpage Fire Department and has served as
chief and company captain at Bethpage-Ladder #3. As the water district's newest commissioner, Mr. Sullivan with
many years of accumulated experience, has quickly become an asset to
the district and the community he serves. He and
his wife, Cheryl, have three children, Rachel, Brendan and Drew. |
